VIP can mean two things: A. It's simply a remix done by the original artist that's usually an improvement of the original track and to revive it, unlike a Remix in which another artist remixes it, or afaik, the original artist remixes it but in a completely different way.
B. A private mix made by the original artist in a live-act, or only for live-acts.
