i'm not being harsh, i'm being real :p

of course everyone starts somewhere but you should point out if something is bad, if you just complement everything than how can the producer know whether he should improve the sound or not..?

The music business IS a harsh world! Everyone is subjective because they all listen with their own expectations.
Now I can tell you my opinion about the kick, but what does it matter? You already stated you don't like it...

But if you do want my opinion, this is what I would do -> don't distort 15 times, but back it down to like 4. Put eq's between the distortions and play with that. That should make it more interesting to listen to.

But what most people are forgetting, a kick also has to fit in the mix!
Not every sound has to be groundshaking, huge, wide and loud. The result of such a mix will be unlistenable.
Every sound you use should bring something to the mix, something unique that the other elements can't cover.
So it could well be possible that the separate parts sound a little weird, but when combined they sound great...
Not cut from the same mold!

First, decide the feel of your track, then make the kick to fit that feel. E.G. A dark, raw track calls for a dark, raw kick, and a calm, peaceful track calls for a calm, peaceful kick.

Also, take the time to actually learn a thing or two about synthesis. Not only will that help with kicks, but everywhere else too!

i would say that you don't have to please everyone, And don't try to.

the most important thing is that YOU are happy with a sound, if you are happy with something, someone else will like it too, and then there's always going to be people who hate :) You can't please everybody

couple years back i was happy with something i made, when i hear it now it sounds horrible to me :p you get higher expectations of things over time

This! It's all true. You can hear the difference in one year how have you improved. But TBH this kick posted up here doesn't sound good. It needs way more EQuing. But we've all started from kicks like this so don't worry pal. Just practice

What i always do in FL studio. I distort in really hard. and then taking eq's and distort in a little more with some filters and other stuff.. Send it to Send 1, and just go on with the sound (I put then the insert one volume off)
I tweak and distort till i'm happy with the tail, am i doing this right?

And punch is still a ''?'' for me :p
