@TheRavestyler, I'm sorry to say, but everything you say is not true. Chris One recently talked about cutting low ends on leads in one of his live sessions and I know most producers do this. Also, kicks are like the basis of your mix which needs to be centered. I wouldn't say that it should be 100% mono, but you really shouldn't overdo stereo on your kicks!
As for making your mixdowns louder, it's important to eq everything in the right way. Boosting frequencies too much will cost you lots of headroom, compression may be an answer but will cause a less dynamic result. Also, generally speaking, mastering will boost your volume as well, but I shouldn't start with such things as long as you're a beginner
