Why no Sample Packs From big names?

it is seriously hard to make kicks (good kicks), unless you rip stuff, but that's just how it is

- know how to use an eq
- know how a dist + eq combination works,
- know how to remove spiky transients on a sound with a limiter
- know how to compress a sound

& understand that there's no rules or laws with how you should use FX or what FX you should use and you're good to go - on the journey to finding out your own techniques. Good luck.

Producing should't be that easy. It would lose it's worth. Everybody can learn to mix and stuff. But there are some people who can really produce.

+ If you produce yourself. It gives you a unique style of mixture and sounds.

I agree with Aliner. As I said in my previous post. I prefer listening to a track wich represents someones own unique style with a good base, than listening to someone who tries to remake a Headhunterz kick or something. Doesn't mean you can't get inspired by ideas from other producers. I mean, the Donkey Rollers and Headhunterz introduced the pitched kicks way back, I think it was 2006 or something. And now almost everyone is using them. Still, it depends on the track if it sounds cool or not, but that is my opinion. I really hope some more pro producers put in their two cents, I think somebody like Tim from Atmozfears is active on this community, could be interesting.

One thing that's struck me was there are no Sample packs containing kicks, toks, sound present's etc from some of the big names in the Biz to help people out.

I for one am struggling with making a kick (current track uses a lot of layered samples), but actual synths, general in track samples and arrangement I'm fine with.

It just strikes me that none of them have done sample packs containing the above as I know a lot of people would buy them & It would help push the future generation of producer an give them a helping start.

To be honest, the way you typed the text above, it doesn't look like a question in general. You're basically saying that you are struggling with kicks and you would like the possibillity of using a samplepack when tweaking a kick gets to complicated. I don't mean to be a bad guy here, just trying to help. Only thing i can say is that when i figured out how to tweak sounds and kicks the way i wanted to sound them, my productions improved a lot in every aspect of the word quality. It also gives you a lot of confidence, because you created everything yourself.

I am a fan of Sample packs, but I mostly use Vengeance packs for Short synth sounds and their FX and Percussion.

I find Youtube Tutorials more informative, just search for "Hardstyle kick tutorial in FL/Reason/Logic" or whatever program you use. If that tutorial brings something good, then continue on that concept and make it to your own sound.

Its better for the Producers to use the intrument then use a sample sound from that instrument.
Your understanding is uneffected and you get more to the passive side of producing and hopes that the Sample packs will give you the big Music-hit then creating the sound yourself.
