Brice, your kick isn't that nice in my opinion. The bass has to be a lot lower, it hasn't a good 'Tok' sound and the punch is to soft. How did you made it? One channel for the whole kick or 3 channels for a punch a bass and a tok (and maybe extra channels)?

Thx for the comment. Well, I know the bass sucks haha.
It has 4 channels : Two for the kick itself + punch + bass.

Hmm ok. Here:

Its a very very basic way on how to make the punch/tok made by ephixa, but you get the point i guess. And making a bass is just having a feeling for it or a lot of luck XD

I have a question - Is the punch just the tok? Or does it have to have bass aswell?

It depends, Stuart. But you can do both.. Imo, the best way is to have almost NO bass in the punch at all, just a little impact :)

Two of my kicks, I have this soundsystem that enhances the sound (Logitech Z-5500) so it's really hard and frustrating to know if there's actually enough bass, any feedback on this would be appreciated.

Lacks punch and doesn't suit the melody, try keeping the pitch lower as well.

Good luck with further kicks!
