Re: 'heavy' vocals question
Btw, this was me talking normally, not trying to go low or forcing my voice to sound more dark. If you would do that, it could become better, but it's way easier to work with just a normal voice then something forced

Like when you are working with a kick, you want to find that sweet spot, that nice crunchy layer to put on top of your vocal and you can achieve that with good EQ & Distortion. When you have found that sweet spot, it's just a matter of mixing the vocal down properly and placing a gate filter on top, which ISN'T quantized, otherwise it will feel unnatural.
I've created this voice with the help of my father who is a professional vocal artist, so that helps of course. I just placed about 10-15 effects on his voice and got that Qlimax result (kind off). But to show it to you guys I've just placed the effects on my voice while saying: 'Constructing a raw Kick'. It sounds a lot better on his voice though, but if you like this, I could make a tutorial if you want.

Ok, great. I'll make a video when I installed camtasia
You also can download the freeware of SSL X-orcism stereo..
It's a free plugin which makes your voice extremely dark and heavy without the notes will get shorter or longer.
I haven't got the link anymore so you should look it up on google or something.
