Tell that to my ears + my schools 10k+(AUD) mackie system*...Well I guess you just did... but I did hear a difference!
I guess it could have been all in my head since I was expecting it to be different. But then whats the point of lossless? All that data for nothing?

*I'm in the "technical company" at school and when the boss leaves
Ever heard of the "placebo" effect? Tell that to your brain ;-)

And about the clublevel, Those systems are coloured like hell so it doesnt even come close to hearing the difference between 320's and lossless formats ;)

i also would say that you wouldn't just hear the difference between 192 and 320 kb/s if you wouldn't know which one is 192 and 320, but that's because of the ability to hear of ours. most of us probably damaged theirs ears pretty much in clubs and shit :p
but imo or at least in my way of perception you feel the and maybe also here it partially that the basses feels - respectively sounds - different to the lower kbs version in the higher kbs version, so like stronger and primary more clear

My dad has these at his place, and believe me.. 320 from Losseless you can hear brightly :p

Put some CD to play... some old Prodigy CD if you have, and after that put some 320 from your PC... you will hear so big difference :)
i see you with my x-ray

Those tests aren't reliable unless you do several blind tests in a row, without the test leader telling you wich snippet he is playing.. ;)

I hear a very small difference on my monitor speakers between 320 and wav but I don't really care about it most of the time.
I even play 192 mp3s at parties sometimes.

CD's died because they were too expensive. I mean 20 bucks for a cd, like wtf?
I look at it this way:

If cd's would cost 75% less, more than 75% of the people would buy it over downloading it.
Better for both parties.
