Deadmau5 NYC New Years

Post by Haug219 »

Well I got a ticket to Deadmau5 in NYC for New Years. Ticket was 195$ but that was Main Floor VIP at a table bottles included and open bar so it wasnt a bad deal at all. You get a table code and give it to your friends who order the tickets also and they get included at that table. Not a HUGE fan of Deadmau5 but I like some of his stuff and it should be a blast. Sold extra car parts that were sitting around for the money anyway hehe. If you live near NYC I and you dont have plans yet I would suggest this : ) http://everafternyc.com/

The lowest price I can see is 175 and thats for the 4 hour open bar from 8-12 and general admission only. It is worth it imo to just get some friends together and pay 195 for a VIP table with open bar and bottles.
The rest of the prices are higher than 195 and there is an after 1am for 115 but I dont see the point in that.
I dont see any other people on a lineup yet so Im not sure on that Ill try to look into it more but right now I only see Deadmau5.
Minimum age is 21
Time is from 7pm - 4am

I found a solid video of Deadmau5 playing...I dont remember much of Deadmau5 playing though. I wish I would have known about the Avicii show down the street earlier but I found out about it after we had the tickets : /
Id say it wasnt worth the amount of money we payed though. It was a very unorganized event...open bar was from 8-midnight but when we got there the VIP line to get in was not moving AT ALL for almost 2 hours and general admission was flying in. They extended the open bar an hour to make up for it but then they ran out of hard alcohol at around 1130. I think that start right there just brought down the mood of the night for the entire place because everyone who payed a lot was not getting their moneys worth and got in late as hell. Everyone was pissed off. That is prob why I drank too much haha I had to get my moneys worth in a short amount of time. (going to the open bar and asking for 12 cups of vodka)

But anyway Happy New Year to everyone and I have a feeling this year will be a good one : )
