Filter vst alternative to Logic's 'Autofilter'

Post by Blacklite »

I've been looking for something that remotely fits the description, but I can't seem to find anything with the same kind of control that Logics autofilter has, if anybody knows of a filtering vst that I can control when the filter starts to work and ends, and has a lowpass and hipass that can work together please let me know.

I've heard fabfilter is useful but after looking at it I don't think its just that complex.

Its not as advanced :/ true it has good filtering, but it doesn't allow me to choose when the filter kicks in if you get my meaning

autofilter <3
there is no real alternative tbh... (i googled :P)
just like for sculpture, the es2 and the phasedistortion and a lot of other plugs and features.

i had been looking for "something like" quadrafuzz,
in the end i just rebuilt the fx-chain and -bam- got something pretty similar.

if you're talking about the one headhunterz use in his kick video, then i suggest you use a normal filter, and control it through a automation clip.
in that way you can control things better, in my opinion ofcourse :)

I want the filter algorithms to actually be worth using a filter like that, I don't care for kick filtering atm its for something else.

On the chance of you using FL Studio they have a plugin called 'Love Philter' which does all that LFO hp, lp, bp filter stuff. Plus you have great control over the shape of the FLO!

Quadrafuzz can be used in any DAW so why searching for something like it?
