But they aren't really famous or even well known for that matter. It's a different discussion entirely, but the top producers have either used Logic/Cubase their entire carreer or started using it when things started to get more serious.

None of them do ;)

Like i said before, non of the real top artists use FL just because it lacks hardware support.

It's lacking more then only hardware support.

d'Stylerz went to cubase some weeks ago.

All the DAW's got ups and downs. I really like the fast work flow of FL so I mostly use FL. I need to get quick my ideas into a DAW. Cubase is not the DAW for that.

The really big downside of FL is the lack of good hardware support. Though it can be fixed with a bit more effort :p

You're absolutely right. That's why FL is so loved by, especially, beginners. It has a very easy learning curve. There are also producers who use FL via ReWire in Cubase so they can use FL's sequencer, but use Cubase to mix and master the track. FL has it's good features and is suitable to use professionally, but the fact most professional users choose <insert DAW name here> over FL, has to say something. But that's, like I said, another discussion.

Thats also probaly that cubase is just a "standard" (or logic when you use apple)

And it works. Probaly when I get more hardware synths ill switch on to Cubase and probaly rewire FL.

Hyperdrive is not really a "Famous" DJ. All the other are on Logic or Cubase
And B-Front used Reason before, not FL.
respect. reason is one retarded bitch to work with - no vst-support.

Kinda true... As long as it sounds good, but it's interesting to some people (me) to know what DAW some famous producers use.
