Mac OS X - Logic Studio on Windows. (VMWare)

Post by Y-Fact »

Hi guys,

I managed to get Logic studio working on my laptop without any lag, well there is a bit latency ofcourse, but im only using it for making kicks and it works perfect..

I've got one question..Should i make a tutorial so everyone could give it a try?

Greets,

In fact installing MAC OS X is really easy when you have processor Intel Core and motherboard with compatible chipset. You can check if your motherboard is compatible typing in google HCL 10.6.8 (if you want 10.6.8 to install). Then you need retail and UnibootX (e.g.), iBoot should do the work too. Then it's really important if you have got Gigabyte motherboard if not don't care but if yes you'll have some problems with ibstalling MAC because your USB won't work. I stucked at this moment in my friend's computer. You'll need a package of Kexts and you'll have to customise DSDT. It's no problem as far as you've got programs in your boot CD :) I used UnibootX to install MAC on my computer and it work with sound and Internet. Remember that graphic card is really important when you have ATI you'll need kext to it :) just read about it a lot and you'll kniw what is that all about :)

Its even more easy with IAtkosL2 that one was soo easy i did it run in 3 hours. ( If u Have a Intel PC.)
and that shit runs Flawless , just no internet.

btw i would love to see how u set it up in VMWare , cause it propably wont run for most ppl and its way more complicated than my method .
i checked VMWare out once and i must say its hard to understand as hell. (have fun to configure guys).

i should maybe Sell some Hackintosh DVDs per Ebay i wonder if its Legal ??

Imagine building a guitar and then tuning it and then playing it. That's what electronic music is.

I got a Hackintosh from eBay... had a few kernal panics but that's because I had too many USB things plugged in.

Other than that it runs smooth and fast enough for Logic... not had time to give it a proper try though.

TheRavestyler but Iatkos isn't solid as much as my retail + kexts ;) you've got bunch of things that you don't even use and you've got trash in your kext folder. But yes you're right iatkos is very easy to install but not for ATI :)
