First time going there, I had to do it atleast one time in my life

I feel a little sad knowing this will be the last edition of Q-BASE. I knew it was out there but it was only 2012 when I first attended. Never missed one edition ever since. I love night time festivals, there are not that many around and the atmosphere on Q-BASE is amazing. The location has to do a lot with that, it's a shame they used less and less of the bunkers available on the terrain and started to use more and more tents. Q has said the will come with a new festival most likely on the same location so maybe not all is lost. For me Q-BASE is traditionally the closer of the festival season and a one of a kind festival that created lots of great memories that will stay with me as long as I life

100% there is something special about partying all night when the sound is that loud - I get so much more energy when its dark and the air is fresh

as much as I like some of the daytime parties I do spend a lot of the time sitting down as its too fucking hot and get too wasted to remember the music when the party starts warming up

I also like how the big show with the fireworks is halfway through, just before things start to really kick off rather then when everyone is too tired to care lol

and dancing to hardcore whilst the sun is coming up is something really special and not something you get to do at most other parties, especially as the sound is normally great as well - fuck I will be there and be sure to give it a send off

as a further note - I see all these parties having anthems and people don't really seem to care about the tracks - lost in dreams is THE anthem, the rest might as well not bother lol

I went for the first time last year, was pretty damn epic. going vip this year im curious with what event they will replace Q-Base though..
