Usually it's an hour to the gent sint pieters station on the train, then about 40 minutes on the shuttle bus from there to the festivalgorm10 wrote:How long does it take to get the festival if your coming from Brussels airport on using public transport?

"It is allowed to bring your own food and drinks to the campsite but there's a limit of 6 canned alcoholic drinks (max. 50cl each) and 6 cans or bottles (plastic) of water/soda/energy drink (max. 50cl each) per person."
Any experiences about how strict they are with the beer & water limits?
And is the way from the car to the camping as terrible as the one at Defqon?

They aren't actually too strict. Last year I was able to bring in an 8 pack of beer. I also brought 3 2l bottles of water with me no problem.
The walk isn't so bad at all. The queues however getting into the festival is horrendous! haha
