[23/06/2017] Defqon.1 Festival - Victory Forever [NL]

Looking for parties?

Postby natenczas » 18 Jan 2018, 15:44

Everything depends of Flevoland Province Council Officials and Biddinghuizen Evenemententerrein owners. Those second will agree for 100%. Q-Dance hardly nagotiates conditions with Flevoland Council thats why we are waiting for official dates for so long. Stretching Defqon.1 for 4 days is apparently bigger project than we can think. Keep your fingers crossed and hopefully we'll get one day extra!

I'll be interested to see how they do it for 4 days - when I went in 2012 they kicked off the party on Thursday night, and then had "the gathering" on the Friday as the opening of the Red. I'd love it if they brought that back

I hope they don't expand the festival, I think it would be way too much to be honest. Also there's the thing about the people who works, they cannot take all the free days they want just to attend Defqon. Let's see what happens :?

at the interview they said they try to make the friday a full festival day, so i think if they make it, the gathering will be on thursday and at friday maybe the red will be opened on the evening like the sunday.

4 days? I don't have problems with that :D

Here in Germany the festivals start wednesday and end sunday like Airbeat One so no problem. The only Thing
is that at Airbeat One you can get your car the to camping so you can sleep in it like me in a VW Bus :D

4 days isnt too much for a festival. Scandinavias biggest festival is 9 days non-stop partying. Crossing my fingers for that extra day!
I think we all know the answer.. Explosions!

Lol'd _O_

But yeah, even 1 night of Qlimax, Hard Bass or Q-BASE or whatever kills me. 3 days is already a lot, since hardstyle isn't 'chilling in the grass zoning out music', we're all supposed to go full apemode, so we do. Even when considering you can sleep inbetween, I can't even try to imagine how my muscles would feel after 3 days. Especially because I'm not into drugs, even the thought of 4 days makes me sweat.

And it has nothing to do with convenience, you can't like.. magically heal your body by saying 'it's supposed to be fun fam keep strong pls'. Being able to go less apemode on day 2 because day 1 fucked up muscles is shit, especially when that worsens on day 2, worsens on day 3, and then maybe even another day now. Some people here really think the way their bodies work is the way every body works. Ignorance ftw.

IMO Q-Base, Qlimax... are way harder than 3 full Defqon days. (Im not taking any pills, not sure how people can handle 4 days on pills)

Sorry but how is 1 night harder than 3 full days? If you sit and chill for half of the whole DQ weekend (excluding the sleeping inbetween) you're probably still dancing/moving way more than the 8 or 9 hours at Qlimax :D

Of course Qlimax is 'in one go', but after hours of heavy dancing (just like the day(s) after the gym) my muscles are fucked up. Some night rest won't fix that. After Qlimax I can just use sunday to rest, at Defqon I can't and I have to keep having fun/dancing cuz I didn't pay to sit down all the time. So it places a big responsibility on my body without a lot of rest.

Because it´s hard for me to stay awake during an entire night when i had to work from 6am 5-6 days before the event.

Do agree with Tekk, was easier for me to bare 2 days of Ultra Singapore with 35 Celsius and bright sun than a night of Qlimax. I’m just not used to stay a night awake.
