Decent tutorial you've done there. After playing with the chorus/delay/reverb I got something which is pretty close to the Scream/Summer Of Hardstyle kinda sound.

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=7EF6QAQ3 will get you a zip containing the skins.

To use, you will need to access the Resources directory. (PC users: sorry, I got no fuckn idea how to do it. Somewhere you'll find images titles something like "10001.png" up to "10075.png" or something like that. Duplicate these as a backup if you want, then replace them with the new ones).

OSX Users- Find Sylenth1.vst in your plugins folder, right-click and select "Show Package Contents".
Within /Sylenth1.vst/Contents/Resources you will find the .png files for the original GUI. Backup if you want and replace with the newer ones.

nice help to beginners, but why do you use that autotune? It only delay's your sound a few ms so it sounds a bit thicker. You couldve also've done that with a chorus or smth

(oh and tbh some moves made your sound worse then it was. like adding a 0% wide chorus. it only muddens it up and loses clarity)

Nice tutorial , you've got do more edit to perfect the synth but it is nice! :)

for the guys who want that Sylenth 1 skin, I made an .dll file of all the .png pictures

download link:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=E9DELR8W

just replace it with the other Sylenth .1 dll in the folder: /C: > Program Files > VSTplugins > LennarDigital (or Sylenth 1) > then replace this .dll with the original one (don't forget to make an back-up)

Screen:

I didn't make an .dll of the white skin (yet).

I also pitch-shift with Auto-Tune.

About the chorus I'd rather say that too much width kinda messes up the sound.
I used chorus 2 times, hence I made one with width 0%.

In the end it's only a guideline, you don't have to copy every step. Would be boring anyways, since every sound would sound the same.
Quite contraproductive to creativity if you ask me =).

I really appreciate your criticism.
Thx

About the skin: There should be a how-to inside of the skin package!
Basically you download "Resource Hacker" or something similiar, open the Sylenth 1 dll and replace the images.
