Step 1:
Turn everything off and put everything as it should be from scratch or load up an init preset.

Step 2: Oscillators
Osc 1
Wave: Vintage saw 1
Transpose: 0
Octave: 0
Mode: Normal, Sync
Group: Add
Fine Tune about half way between the bottom and middle
Phase keep in the middle
Bus keep near the bottom
Level leave in the middle

Osc 2
Wave: Vintage saw 1
Transpose: 0
Octave: 0
Mode: Normal, Sync
Group: Add
Fine Tune about half way between the top and the middle
Phase right to the bottom
Bus right to the top
Level keep in middle

Osc 3
Wave: Vintage saw 1
Transpose: 0
Octave: +1
Mode: Normal, Sync
Group: Add
Fine Tune keep in the middle
Phase right to the bottom
Bus in the middle
Level just a notch higher than the middle

Osc 4
Wave: Vintage saw 1
Transpose: 0
Octave: -1
Mode: Normal, Sync
Group: Add
Fine Tune keep in the middle
Phase right to the bottom
Bus in the middle
Level in the middle


all the rest should be off

Step 3: Filters
Type: 24db/Oct LPF
Limiter: Off
Reso BST: Off
Cutoff: Full
Reso: Middle
Pan: Middle
Level between the middle and top
Dual: On
Link: On

Both 1 & 2 should be the same

Step 4: Modulation Matrix
Source: On
Range: Full
Curve: Off
Control: EG1
Destination: All Filters Cutoff

Step 5: Envelope Generators
P: everything is at the bottom
1: SLT is just below the middle, amount is full the rest is at the bottom
All the rest are at the bottom art from A
A: SLL is right at the top, decay is in the middle, amount is full

Step 6: Compressor
Mode: Fast
Thres: 0
Ratio: 0
Gain: just above the middle
Level: right to the top

Step 7: Reverb
Size: keep in the middle
Damp: right to the bottom
Low: keep in the middle or just below
High: keep in middle
Wet/Dry: Keep in middle

Step 8: Eq/Simulator
WQ Mode: Wide 1
Simul Mode: Off
80: middle
220: middle
500: middle
1k: very slighty above the middle
2.5k: very slightly above the middle
6.3k: about 1 notch higher than the middle
15k: about half way between the middle and the top

Step 9: Modulation
Mode: 6 Voice Chorus
Sync: Off
EQ Mode: Off
Wave: Sine
Depth: Middle
Speed: Middle
Delay: Half way between the middle and the bottom
Feedback: Half way between the middle and the bottom
Low: Off
High: Off
Level: Middle

Step 9: Delay
Mode: Cross Delay
Sync: 1
EQ Mode: Wide
Time L: Between the middle and the bottom
Time R: same as Time L
Feedback: Middle
Low: Off
Mid: Off
High: Off
Level: Middle

Everything else should be turned off

lol seems long, cheers nutty mate :) any other tips you can give, i'd be really appreciative ;D i think my main problem with producing is not making good sounds, what i mean is screech's, stabs/fills/fx and just things to fill the track out more, cause my stuff seems "empty" also i have low self esteem so i think i'm shit at everything basically :rofl:

I think you should move to other kind of vst synthesizers as z3ta is quite outdated by its sound quality and cpu usage.

Its old synth, it doesnt support multicore cpu's and sound quality isnt that amazing.

try zebra2, NI Massive, Predator, audjoo helix. You will definatly wount be dissapointed.

checkout as example this soundset by adam van baker for massive

That sound bank sounds amazing! I might try massive sometime, heard a lot of good things about it
