I hate the majority of overly distorted and ugly kicks, the Prophet/Peacock one is a good example, but I like the Dual Damage style "PVC" kick, used by The Straikerz at 0:55. It's a relatively clean, tonal note, entirely perceivable as music.

Showtek all the way down to the kick at 0:56. Love it.

10 years ago I probably would have shrugged and moved on. As a 2023 track, this is so damn good. I can't stop listening to it. I really hope that we get more of this kind of music. Welcome back.
