freddy g:whatever - as long as they are still on the way.... :)

This :) I'm still super grateful they decided to go for them so I can wait a little longer. It's nothing vinyl collectors wouldn't be used to at this point :+

It's a generally known problem which is caused by 2 factors - one of them is the sudden surge of interest in vinyls in the past 2-3 years. The demand is outnumbering the supply which pressing plants can provide at this very moment and it is pretty time consuming to upgrade the manufacturing capabilities. Plus a lot of the pressing plants don't even want to, because it's an enormous investment and a lot of them basically expect the current vinyl hype to radically slow down in the coming years.

2nd and related problem is that big radio artists like Adele or Weeknd who are releasing new albums are completely jamming those pressing plants basically by ordering 30 different color variations of their releases. And indie bands, smaller artists or musician from local scenes (like in our case here) can not really compete with that and 'outbuy' those queues.

definitely, I posted in the other thread about a new record I just bought that has a track on it that was released 7 years ago, think I can wait a couple more months....

that being said, I am surprised more labels artists aren't doing the same as that heresy record and pressing up a few of the best tracks of the last 10 years or so, seems like an easy win to me
