Was well surprised by the stage design last year and a year before. Just though for a second that I would be absolutely insane if they make stage regarded to this graphic. Some like power plant look alike or industrial design of ironwork or something.
Hurry up August!
My birthday at Decibel again ohh I can’t wait :)

We were last year the first Time at Defqon and this year we will check the Decibel Experience :)
What are the Differences between Defqon and Decibel Camping?
How far are the ways between Parking and Camping Area? (At Defqon it was really far)
How far are the ways between Camping and Festival Area?
At Defqon last year, we arrived at 5pm in Biddinghuizen and we lost so much time in the waiting line for parking. Which Time is best for arriving at Decibel (incl Way from Parking to Camping and Build up our Tents etc) to be at 7pm on the Festival for Kick off Start?
How fast were the Weekend Tickets Sold out in the past?
How are the toilets and Shower Areas? We will think about the Premium Weekend Tickets.
And which are the other important Differences, i Forget to ask?
Thanks for Response :)

Defqon.1 camping is huge, very open landscape, no trees on campsite. Decibel camping is much smaller and has many trees, feels more like a real camping.

Well... Decibel lets you walk an extra kilometer

This is a trick question? Decibel has two festival areas, one at the campsite which is used on Friday and Sunday. The main festival area is only used on Saturday and yes Decibel lets you walk a little further.

Mmm... I always buy VIP/Premium tickets for Decibel, I don't want to wait in that line too long. Last year was pretty bad. Also the security guards where badly instructed and confiscated stuff that was actually allowed by Q-dance like deoderant aerosols and gas cartridges. Of course you could buy those at the camping store so I didn't smell too bad that weekend.
How fast were the Weekend Tickets Sold out in the past?
They don't sell out as fast as Defqon.1 but if you don't want to take changes buy a ticket as soon as you have the opportunity. I think last year it was about 1 month before the start it was sold out.

Overal I would say Defqon.1 is more like a whole weekend music experience, Q-dance has done everything to make it like this. Now there are more people attending the whole weekend than there are people with day tickets. Decibel has 'only' got about 10k people for the weekend and a total of 65k visitors on the Saturday. So at the end of the Saturday most people go home while the people at the campingsite go to the after party. The party area at the campsite has one major area/tent and two smaller areas (really small) but the atmosphere is very good. In Dutch we would say very 'gezellig'. I like both festivals a lot, overal I would say Defqon.1 has better organisation and better value for money.

Toilets and showers are simular to Defqon.1, the camping has some fixed buildings and they add an temporary building for extra capacity.
Premium ticket gets you a vip entrance so you can get on the camping a little faster, good choice if you want to have a nice spot on the camping. You get a free locker on the camping and entrance to vip decks. On the festival area there are vip decks at the pussy lounge and main stage. Those have extra bars and toilets only accessible from the vip decks, especially nice for the ladies who don't want to wait for a long time at the regular toilets. Is it worth the extra 25 euro? I think so but it all depends on your budget.

There are enough shower for the camping, altough last year the main one was flooded

Not enought toilets at the festival tbh, near the mainstage/remember it's always packed as fck, not sure about the rest.
