Hardstyle is dead here mate. Literally dead. I’m not british but living here about 7 years now and never met anyone listening to hardstyle. (On dedicated parties yes)
When someone’s asking me what kind of music I like people never heard about hardstyle or, what worries me and pisses me right off is ‘oh I know: happy hardcore’
Jeezas, really?
Few times went for local ‘hardcore rave’, left after 20 minuets. Happy bulshit everywhere. People does listen to this and audience is usually well over 30.
Here in Wales we have bunch of people listen to hardstyle but it is literally like 50 people. Usually we’re meeting each other’s every year at Defqon. If further the north the more hardstyle. Big HS stage in Northern Ireland. Went on the other day to see Gunz for Hire and Zatox in Belfast. In Leeds was Phuture Noize and Regain couple months ago. And Scotland, mostly Glasgow. This are only places you can hear someone hardstyle in UK really or you can meet someone who does listen to it or have a minimum clue about it.
Stage is dead, even Kutski can’t fix it with his keepin the rave alive went to Bristol once it was disaster - again more happy hardcore or hardtrance than anything.
Flights are cheap, you have 22 daily flights to Amsterdam from each of London’s airports. go Holland, do Qapital, or Hard Bass, or Qlimax or Loudness or whatever you want and you can come back very next day right from Amsterdam (or Eindhoven) to home in less than 2 hours. ITS CHEAPER, QUICKER and WAAAAAY BETTER than spending shitloads of money and 7 hours in fuckin overpriced train just to see Phuture Noize in bloody Leeds.
If you want to go Qapital I’ll be going on my own (as usually coz no one listen to hardstyle in UK) pm me there is still plenty of time.

In love with harderstyles since Defqon.1 2010
I've been to London in 2013 and I remember myself desperately looking for someone who listens to Hardstyle. Nothing... But I went to an awesome DnB party, though! Well, yeah. I guess Hardstyle is pretty dead in the UK...

I like every genera of music ... i like DnB , Hardstyle even the "New Dub" i like .. the point is not to enjoy partys or concerts... is more to improve my knowledge about hardstyle production... ofc... one party would be amazing

But this country is really dead... i really can't understand why ... they have a lot of culture here... a lot of different styles...
Should we try to Raise a Hardstyle Family here? .... or theres no point ?

Theres not really that many labels either that do hardstyle in the UK except for the odd few like Nutty Traxx, NTraxx Black, Gearbox and so on
I live in Nottingham and love hardstyle but there are no events here. I grew up loving happy hardcore at Club Kinetic (‘95) in Stoke and the various events at Bowlers in Manchester but hardstyle is definitely where it’s st musically for me now.
Like the previous post said, getting to Dutch events is pretty easy and are so superior to events in the UK so I try and make it there a few times a year.
I’ll defo be up for meeting up with fellow Brits at Dutch events in the future.

Hey jammy ,
i don't know about UK events , but i would like to start an UK hardstyle family cus we can't be the only ones here loving this style ...
I know that South london is the DnB born city and the Deep Dubstep but it's impossible we can't find hardstyle lovers here ...
