What happened to Dana and Abject?

Postby andyhuynh » 12 Apr 2012, 01:46

This has probably been discussed on the forums many times but.. what ever happened to artists like Lady Dana & Abject? I think they were some of the most influential artists in the hardstyle scene.

Dana burned out, she simply got tired and depressed from the whole 'being famous' thing so she took a long, long break. TBH dont think she's comming back (would be fckn awesome if she did...) :(
and ya, Abject equals Frontliner :P he had to get a new name when he changed his label to Scantraxx, afaik Abject was still licenced under Next Chapter for a few years

Abject was a word that pretty much meant "broke as fuck" :+ I don't think that'd hold well in the Hardstyle world, even if it an awesome sounding word.

ab·ject/ˈabˌjekt/
Adjective:
(of a situation or condition) Extremely bad, unpleasant, and degrading.
(of an unhappy state of mind) Experienced to the maximum degree.

Complete opposite of what his tracks did for me, still to this day loving all his older abject tracks. ;D

Abject's kick is what got me listening to EDM in the first place! Why isn't frontliner this good?
