such a boring episode and I've got a feeling that the whole season might be like that ...

the worst thing is that you know, that Rick isn't gonna die ... ok I have to admit that atleast this Negan guy is quite funny and nice to see Trevor around.

It was just simple & plain for me, almost cheesy ... maybe it was supposed to make you feel sad (I watched recently "Beasts of No Nation" that movie got me e.g.). Somehow I think that it will be all about taking revenge etc. and in the end nothing really new/essential happens. Even the latest Fear the Walking Dead was more interesting imo.

The producers said everyone is going to die at some point, in order for the show to progress, so I wouldn't hold my breath on Rick surviving.


I feel like this should've been the season 6 finale, maybe I would've given 2 shits about those deaths then, it was too big of a pause for leaving such a cliffhanger.

Absolutely shocked. I guessed Abraham's death but certainly not Glenn's (I don't read the comic and i don't read stuff online). That episode was way too much though. It didn't need to be THAT gory and Negan didn't need to be talking that much. It got boring very quickly and I found myself thinking "shut up Negan, let's just move on now". As somebody else has pointed out, these deaths should have been at the end of the last season. I'm worried this series is going to be shit now. I actually think the series is better knowing Rick is going to survive because he's an ace character and without him, i don't think The Walking Dead could survive as a show.

Well gore standards evolved abit with GOT, I assume people actually like gore stuff on tv seeing the success of the series, so TWD is just following the path.

But yea good opening so far, Negan speaking a lot is also for introducing one of the strongest characters. Season 6 was all about when are we fucking gonna see Negan!!!1!1 so no wonder they take time on him for the 1st.
