this joke would be funnier if sound rush ever came up with anything original that was remotely good
all of their tracks that are "ok" or even "good" are either ripped melodies or collabs with better artists who probably did most of the work

This was clearly made to appeal to the mainstream audience, "Getting normies into Hardstyle". It's a known fact that proper sounding Hardstyle is generally disliked by mainstream opinion as your brain isn't trained listening to it. But when you recognize something you already know or like, you will automatically have a better opinion of it, especially if you're not familiar with how proper Hardstyle music should sound like.
