Hardstyle influenced techno tracks

Postby battlejellyfish » 07 Mar 2022, 20:10

I don't think it needs a lot of explanation :) The interest towards hardstyle is clearly seen in many tracks these days in techno scene so I would love to have a place collect those.

It shouldn't have to be hardstyle exactly, anything from hardtrance to jump is accepted ("hard dance influenced" sounds a bit more wide right) so come on guys, show us what you have :p

(my list follows later because I have to make one first)
"Hardstyle has a lot of similarities to a newborn baby, in that both are excrement factories." - Ishkur's Electronic Music Guide (it sounds funny, I don't think this way)

Techno influenced hardstyle tracks would also be interesting for me. I only know a few
Look what they need to mimic a fraction of Our Power!

Some tracks I've had on repeat lately:

6EJOU - INVI
WZX_O - Rave Doc
Fraktur - Dirty Money
Bollman - Prime Nexus
VINYA - Morn
DYEN - The Aftermath
DYEN - What I See
Nico Moreno - Bad Seduction
Stan Christ - Trepidation

Also, check ki/ki sets. Might not be exactly what you mean but she mashes up early hardstyle, 90's gabber, hardtrance and techno really well.

This is relatively new, good for anyone craving for a little jumpstyle in 2022 :fist:

This seems to have a lot in common with hard house too, especially since EAS is based out of Los Angeles, which had a pretty big hard house scene like Chicago in the 90s, which if I'm not mistaken, even predated the sound more commonly associated with Belgian jumpstyle/hard house.

Love those T78 tracks (anything on FOA is great usually) but even as a fan of both Techno and early Hardstyle the rest really aren't my style

One track I do really like that fits the style:

Well, I don't know if he usually plays this kind of stuff but there's a 150 BPM techno set on YouTube and SoundCloud with some good stuff in it :)
