Lus:that's a great present for her, I hope she like the music at least :p

She loves that, it's her biggest dream to visit Defqon, btw we've met each other on the parti :fist:

Lus:Could you go for the backstage pass? You know, as a dj and a former performer there.

This year? Nope, I wish haha (but who knows, I doubt it's possible but if someone knows - let me know :O) but when I performed of course - artist lounge, backstages, just VIP everywhere it possibly can be

What stages you looking forward to the most and what stage if any are you most curious about?
Blue is my taste but think I'll be keeping am eye on the u.v depending whisky playing. Feel like alot of really good euphoric being put out lately

All the smaller stages, they have the best sound obviously. Sound at Blue and Black is shit.. Unless u stand in the front

Sound quality at the red also defintitely increased a lot since they installed additional speaker towers during the last years. Back in 2014 I remember that the sound was sometimes literally blown away by the wind xD.

I was there in 2016 and I can’t rememer the sound in the blue being too bad, yet everyone always says this. How does the blue tent compare to the other raw tents at other festivals? Like hangar at abase, loudness at decibel, and the indoor stage at intents?
Is sound pretty much the same at all these?
Also what are they all like for size?
I get the blue tent is huge but I struggle to find how the other event tents compare that I mentioned
Any help would be great :)

I can’t take it seriously when people say that Blue has great sound. It’s far from perfect.

Compared to Intents indoor then it’s almost the same, but slightly better at Intents since it’s more compact, but nothing compared to the Fanaticz stage for example. I guess Loudness at DB has the best sound cause of the size, but never been there so I’m not sure @Dazlee

I hear alot of complaints about the sound but what I need to ask is does it negatively impact your experience that you would not attend again? And after writing a post on a Hardstyle fb page asking should I wear ear plugs to Defqon I got a unanimous yes. Why wear ear plugs if it's not that loud?
