What would you like to see? Name stuff in orders of #1 #2 #3 etc! :)

Mastering is rocket science, a mixdown tutorial is something that probably have been done before, use the search function...
I'm grumpier than you.

Do people even read these?

no not really.
Mastering sure is hard but there are A lot Different Ways to do it and It Always Depends on the Track.
so its not really Rocket Science its just about the Knowledge u have.

Imagine building a guitar and then tuning it and then playing it. That's what electronic music is.

I called it rocket science in order to disencourage beginners from dwelling into something so advanced when they often need to focus on easier things more within their level of knowledge.

Yeah, because for someone at the level of being in contact with labels it can come in handy, but when you barely can cut the mud away from a bassline, mastering would just fuck your shit up and make you confused...

I found this tut on youtube, think it was pretty nice for noobs to hardstyle melodies: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sYcjhWSJ ... 0751988D9B

I've also found this (LONG) text abouth synths and as you have described that you'll have to get nice with synths to get nice with hardstyle, here's the guide,
http://www.ezy.net/~genoside/midiwarez/ ... l#Heading5
(a tip is to go to topic
V. What do all the synthesizer components mean?
that place might be good to understand all the words in a syth for a noob like me :D )
