check out this plugin which is Free

it's a sine wave shaper, which shapes a sinewave to how you want and distorts it. This could prove really useful for making low frequency bass layers

Xfer Serum.
Best softsynth ever. Get ready to never use massive again. Demo at the bottom of the page.

I'm going to say it: I don't think I'll ever use anything else for synthesis again. The sounds I'm pulling out of this right now sound like nothing I've made before. So crisp and awesome and holy shit so much modulation options (L)

Haven't tried it in big projects yet though, so I don't know about the cpu usage.

Have to agree, it is a wicked synth! Also recommend the new Waves Codex, awesome for really unique sounds

I think u can do more with GrossBeat.
But u don't have teh very helpful ocilloscpe behind.
And grossbeat is not that cheap 30€ is a nice price point. But i think earlyer version was olny 20 or 25€

BTW anyone here has the new izotope ozone? I bet my ass it's awesome.

Grossbeat has cool features, but like any image-line effect, it needs some eq'ing and shaping afterwards to remove some unwanted effects.

Anyhow, anyone tries Rob Papen RAW? Curious about it :)

Just to throw it out there.

You guys should check out Slate Digital Plugins. I own VMR VBC and VCC. They're incredible, the algorithms that generate non linear harmonics and phase distortion like the original analogue gear(Maybe not 1:1 but close enough to where you can barely differentiate). They're pretty much all I use for mixing.

I've been using Xenobioz Lucid vsti lately, and I've got to say it's a pretty sweet synth. As well as there other synths.

Also they are free! So that is a plus.
