Peccato per il poster a sinistra :+ mi sarebbe piaciuto venirti a sentire all'A4 due settimane fa ma altri impegni non hanno voluto. Next time...

Get a larger one then the one I have. I'm back using the 27" imac as my screen. Love the higher resolution and that I don't have to use glasses :P

a few pics of the various setups I've had over the past few years. ill try dig out my really old set up pic. started with basically a mac mini, logic 9, 2x yamaha hs50 and a NI KA6 and korg microkey 37.
I've bought pretty much everything in the past, but am well happy with the current setup in the 3rd (bottom image) everything else is gone. i only use my daws and the virus now and slate vbc and valhalla room fabfilter proQ & volcano and a few VI's.
cheers

For this price they are more than just good.
their ribbon tweeters are pretty unique thats why this speakers maybe sound a bit different than others in the high freq area.
For some ppl maybe the low end isnt that enough because they got a 5" membrane for only about 54Hz, but i'm fine with that.
i heard the KRK Rokit got a bit more bass, but overall i like the ADAM more than the KRK.
maybe if you have enough money u could go with the ADAM F7 ..... 7" membrane....slightly better bass ... 44 Hz

thanks for the answer! I think 7' are too big. My head would be only around 60cm away from the speaker, I think this close 5' should have enough bass :D besides that, I dont have enough space for such big speakers (5' are already a bit problematic) :P. I have the Yamaha HS 5 for some time already in my head... but I propably should just go into a music store and see what fits best :D

no problem :) yeah they are too big for me aswell, cause i live here in a small university dorm room, so big speakers are not needed :D
Hmm i also heard just good things about yamaha speakers. We got some sick Neumann in our university studio but they are way too expensive for me :D
