With all this psy-trance influence creeping into hardstyle, I hope hardstyle shifts away from hardness more towards drive and energy. Hype or no hype, I think its healthy for a genre to have different flavours!

I find this really confusing........what exactly does he want? to remove the word "hard" from hardstyle??? For raw to disappear altogether?? for the music to slow down (like I want?)

Yes, because without raw, Hardstyle can not be hard. :+

It was sarcastic, because I think non-raw Hardstyle can definitely be hard.

Less kickrolls, less Hardcore kicks, less "ripping people into pieces" vocals I guess.

More energy, more flow :one:

Apart from the vocals, the rest should not be less. Just do it in a creative way and forget about empty or hollow tracks.

What I actually miss is including some crunchy kicks, breathtaking atmosphere with an awesome melody but the whole in a darker version... basically all that made me love the majority of raw tracks pre-2014 :fist:
