My attempt at the Code Black screech (found in songs as R.E.V.O.L.U.T.I.O.N.)
Not too close, but not too far away imo. :)

No preset , you won't get it that easily :D (This is hardstyle not EDM :D )
The sound comes from a few saws, with some heavy distorsion i'd say you can get similar result with ClipDist and CamelCrusher , and some heavy eqing in the mid area :) to sound like these , the 200-400hz area is really important :)

Hi, I'm new here. i don't usually make Hardstyle but have been falling in love with the sound lately. i think the sound design is really next level. i have allot of new found respect for this genre and scene.

anyways i thought since it was my first attempt at a lead i would do the HHZ colors I've been a little lazy here and haven't EQ'd as much as i should. tut tut! and i think it is a little thick for the lead in question, more like the dragon born lead. but for me it was more about the layering techniques and understanding how to get that huge sound.
anyways great forum.
cheers
