Track reviews(non-hardstyle/hardcore)[Give feedback before posting yours]

All other music besides Hardstyle & Hardcore

Postby Fission » 15 Aug 2012, 23:19

Okay, so this is just an idea. I don't really feel like spamming the track review topics with my house music(I figure people want hardstyle there so I do not want to flood the topic with my stuff, besides, non-hardstyle will probably get reviewed more actively here). If you mods don't like this idea, then go ahead and delete it of course.

The reason I post this here is because I don't know where to post it in the producer section(since track reviews are divided into two sections).

So anyway, I'll start off! :)

Thanks, that's exactly what I was aiming for. :)

Wow I like yours, really cool atmosphere! I like those whispers! The ending especially kind of sounds like it could be the soundtrack of a thriller. :)

EDIT:

BTW, if you think this topic is a good idea, maybe it's a good idea too to make it a sticky so it won't be forgotten. :P

Made some crossover between drum and bass and moombahton or something like that. :P

It really is a snippet, so the arrangements and mixdown suck, I know. :P

No, I think it's a great idea Hidde!

I've made a small remake of ''Venice Beach'' by Daniel Kandi. I was about to post a video on YouTube as an tutorial, but FL keeps lagging when Camtasia is recording.

However, Appreciate the feedback:

@Tha Seeker: I love it! Sounds very close to the original!
@Fission: Sounds pretty interesting! Get some more work done on it!

Made this a while ago but want some actual feedback on it :P

Tha Seeker: I haven't heard the original, but your work sounds pretty nice :P
The Void: Great one, got that tipical trancy feeling ;) But somehow you have problems with that bass, a little bit distorts the other sounds "under" that :P

So, I decided to post my hardtrance track here too (it's on halfway, as you can hear):

(Yep, the title, "Tripping To The Moon" was given the day before yesterday, when I didn't know what will next day happen, but anyway... R.I.P Neil Armstrong.)

Ahh, finally it's coming alive a bit. :)
Stefan: Y u no reviewz me then. :( Anyway sounds nice man!
The Void: It's a bit messy in terms of mixing but overall it's damn nice! :D I oficially do not believe you are 15 now haha. :)
The Convicted: Damn, some epic stuff in this topic already haha! I like it a lot, although I would try to make the bassline stand out more, or just add another offbeat (sub)bass! Synth is pretty cool! Try to fatten it up slightly and work on that bass and you've got a really nice track! :D

I made some new electro(actually, I grabbed the project file of my previous snippet, saved it as another, deleted all patterns and worked it out in an electro way :P ). Messed around with phasers, and wanted to hit myself badly for not using them before. Thought it sounded pretty damn evil! :)

Sorry Hidde, got a jetleg (worst resort ever! xD)

Your electro snippet doesn't sound ''damn evil''. Reminds me more of little cuddly bears and flowers!
In the beginning you hear the horse princess walking towards you, and shuffles her way back to the forest.

Nah, nicely done! :D
