Drum and Bass

All other music besides Hardstyle & Hardcore

Lately i found myself listening to Drum and Bass a lot more, it seems to be I'm moving away from hard style more and more because of the direction it is going in. I am not disrespecting anyone at all, and still absolutely respect all those artist with the great songs they have made.... anyone else feeling like this?

feel free to suggest some really cool DnB tracks here as well!

aww man i know exactly how you feel. looking back on this year i've grown an immense interest in drum n bass aswell.
partly because my interest for hardstyle got a bit derailed, or in other words "i needed something else/a break"

but, getting to know the dnb genre has sparked desire to make dnb mixes for myself.
I especially like artists such as Drumsound & Bassline Smith, Tantrum Desire, MaxNRG, Fred V & Grafix, Mediks, TC, Camo & Krooked, Pendulum, L Plus, Smooth and the list goes on so forth

right now i'm completely hooked to this track:

such an enormous drop !!! especially in the club

you should check out the artists i've mentioned, lot's of them make melodic dnb

but, if you really want the more peaceful melodic dnb side, liquid dnb might be your thing.. its very relaxing

I fucking love some DnB. To me this is one of the genres where its most acceptable to mix with a focus on different things (in hardstyle its only the kick for instance but in dnb it can be the kick drum, the snare, the hats, the bass or even the ambiance) and i sometimes just cant identify with a particular track due to the way its mixed. Many older DnB tracks do nothing for me but the Grafix track and those S.P.Y tracks are sick! :) I personally love UK vocalist remixes/collabs. Liquidy vocal stuff is just soooo epic, especially the last one i linked is just chills everywhere (L)

The only DnB I listen to these days is the darker Neurofunk and Techstep stuff. Nothing better than stuff like this:
