Reasons to feel sad

Postby SKRWD » 21 Jul 2017, 23:18

As I was scrolling through this forum I read that many members here are having struggles or are suffering from mental illness. :/ I'm Borderliner myself and I wanted to offer my time and help if you feel like you need to talk.

Also: Rest in peace, Chester.

Lost my best friend also few years back, best advice is to try and keep yourself busy and try to not think about it. Try not to be obsessed about it, let him/her go, focus on the future.
In terms of mental issues/weakness, the most helpful thing you can do is to get physically fit. Extra confidence boost you get from being physically fit/strong makes a huge difference.

I don't feel sad but like more bad because I quit cigarettes like 3 months and a week or something and for the last 2 weeks I have romantic desires about having a smoke.

I kinda miss it.
Like after a day of work or when I'm busy with my music or walking on a beautiful evening seeing the sun going down I imagine of having one.. :fist:

On the other side I don't even want to think about getting back to my bad habit.
The health related issues, the price of a pack of cigarettes here in the netherlands is ridiculous.

FOAARARKK I HATE THIS FEELING :fist:

Dunno if you quitted before, but I also broke a romance with nicotin lasting 10 years.

I have now been free for 1 year and 5 months and are feeling better than ever. I remember the first 5 month as a pain in the ass, but after that it became humane. You have already passed the midpoint of the worst period, so going back now would be dumb! Good things are to come! :fist:

Thanks for the support Nepsaol! ;D

I have quitted before but this is my longest run ever and of course I won't smoke it again.
Yet, I do miss it.

The thing that makes me sad is that a forum is for having discussions, yet every time a discussion starts, you have to return to your generic 'Good track!' or 'Bad track!' posts because apparently discussions are a taboo here.
