High Preformance Portable Speaker

Postby natenczas » 09 Apr 2018, 21:57

Hi all!

Some voice at the back of my head told me today that I need new speaker which I could take out and enjoy good sound quality at decent high volume.
I currently own a great JBL Xtreme which I have for almost 2 years now. It has some wear and tear here and there and it is still in great condition but its a bit too quiet for 20+ people bbq party outdoor.
I was thinking to get JBL Boombox but I'm not very sure if it is worth the money. 400GBP sounds far to much for a equipment I don't use so often.

Can anybody recommend me something bigger, louder than this?
I couldn't find anything bigger than JBL Boombox online (Or I'm just shit in looking for in the web)
my requirements are: bluetooth connectivity and build-in a battery that lasts for a minimum of 5 hours.

Thanks!

Marshal speaker? my friend has it, quite great stuff :)

Not sute if those Marshalls can give me that good sound quality as JBL Xtreme can...
I associate them with street guitarists and for some reason I didn't even look at them. Maybe it is a good idea tho...

lets say 500EUR but it must be a monster...
JBL Boombox seems to be too little powerful. 2x30W. Xtreme is 2x20W. I was thinking about something +100W (if it is possible :P )

The Sony GTKXB90 is freaking INSANE, loud bass and great tremble.
I highly recommend it, and it also has a battery in it so you don't have to worry about outlets.

I've just found this
https://www.ionaudio.com/products/detai ... cker-sport
And I think this is a thing I'm looking for.
75 hours battery life sounds absurdly tho.
pricing is good 150GBP online hovewer it may suggest poor sound quality.
I will look closer on Marshalls now.
