@Asklepios sounds really good man,i agree with Ex Infinium, that would make the 0:16 drop sounds so powerful :)

@EMi: Melody sounds a bit empty. You should layer with another lead or leads... Add some fx to your track to make it sound fuller!

@ Nrx: Powerfull lead! The kick is missing something though, a bit of crunch maybe? The melody isn't my taste but with some varations this could turn into a great track!

@Asklepios: I'm not a fan of psystyle but this sounds very professional! Really nice! The screeching effect (@ 4 second) would sound better if you raise the volume imo!

It's been a long time since I've created something new due to some ear problems but here's a new track I've been working on...

@NRx : What I mean by "dry", it is like it lacks some frequencies, probably in the low. From my point of view, music is all about combining stuffs, like in your case, a melody, a lead sound, and a kick. They all should fit together to get something that works. Melody and lead are working together, but not the kick. Maybe it is a bit too raw.

@Buffelstoot : Intro screech is too loud compared to the kick. If you improve the sound design of the mid intro, you can have something really good. Break is interesting, more orchestral elements can be good. Main lead doesn(t fit at 100% the melody, need smthg less detuned in the center to add more presence.

On a side note, I hope your ears are getting well now.

Thx all for what you said about my preview, will keep working on it :)

Buffelstoot

Besides the points from others, I also think you could improve that kick. I don't think it is punchy enough (might just be me). Are those choirs from samples or a kontakt library or?

This is just some experimental track I ended up with after doing some acid patterns

@Asklepios: Interesting sound design, sadly the track itself lacks a bit of drive. Otherwise it's awesome! :)

@Buffelstoot: Basically what the others said. The screech is way too loud and the synth sounds too dry. Otherwise good track! Keep on doing! :)

@The RaveN: Nothing to complain here. Interesting track! :)

So, here's my try on a Hardstyle x 8-Bit crossover.

Edit: Somehow the clyp.it embed doesn't work as it says that my clyp cannot be found:

The raven,
sounds weird anD i don't know what style it is, happy something. If seriously, you need to bring your kicks to the front. It will give some extra power. While writing this your track was around 3:50 and i understood what style is this - keygen music. Epic melody man! I really love it.

Soundphase,
you need to EQ more and make it as loud as possible, also i think that dynamics between kick and bass is missing. Add more bass :P

I spent a lot of time sitting over this, there is 1 bug, or maybe two that i know try to find them out. And what do you think by the way?

Is it just me or is the vocal volume jiggling? I don't know the original song, but this might be because bad compressing settings or stretching and pitching.

@SNOOPP the track sound ace, but the vocals jiggle, sounds like over-compression, al[embed][/embed]so I find the kick and lead not really seeming to suit one another, the crunch on the kick doesn't sound quite right. still cool though (H)

@butterprickol sounds pretty sick man, the lead needs to be a tad phatter though, try layering it with deeper, but bright supersaws, and throwing it all on a bus and compressing it so all the layers sound like one. Other than that, it's pretty sweet- dig the kick.

@EMi concept is cool, but it doesn't seem to really flow from one part to another like a rawstyle track should, it feels a bit like fade in fade out- try and add some transient to your kick, and a bit of distortion to your lead- other than that pretty cool man

(H) been like a year since i posted, let alone actually made music. i thought i would use one of my favourite people's voice in my track... Noam Chomsky- it's just the intro- how does it sound? I normally don't do intros like this since I prefer euphoric intros aaaaa

@Asklepios

cant give feedback man sorry... sounds pretty damn good here. i like the drive and it got me movin so.

@Buffelstoot

The track itself ( the idea is pretty good ) like the vibe and the feeling you are bringing over with it.
mixing wise i think there are some things that can be improved. for example it sounds a little muffled. it could be clearer also the kick is not powerfull enough its good but can be better ;). that vocal i have also in a project :P but doesnt matter. its a whole different track im making :P

@The raven
i like the style. but the TAK/PUNCH the crunch could be alot more prominent. as in i want to hear that sound better its now underneath and hard to hear. the melody is pretty nice man love that groove.

@EMI

mixing wise not there is alot to be done. also the lead sound i dont like but that can be taste. the kick has to much low mids and needs less of that and more sub imo in general the kick need alot of work.

sorry if i missed someone but it would get very long :P

today i started this :

I wanted to know if i am on the right track mixing wise...
