Track is really average. Would have prefered his usual kick for the climax, at least it's a signature sound. Here, track sounds really generic to the fullest. Midintro is nice tho I like it.

I don't feel people are bashing BH for doing a classic track, but because it's generic as possible.

I partly agree with Emre here. The tracks from Wildstylez do sound 'fuller', but I don't know if that has to with production level. Nonetheless (love that word.. :+.), Brennan is perfectly capable of producing quality hits, which this track has written that all over it imo. 2009 sounds ftw _O_

Also nice to see he uses a different kick now (also in Raver's Memory). The synth is typical Brennan again :)

Totally agree. Be careful what you wish for I guess. Been screaming out for him to change his kicks for ages, but it would have fit far better here.

Brennan Heart's tracks are much better than Wildstylez' imo, he is way too overrated lately in this forum. BH should renew his soundbank tho.

ceero:But liking/disliking has nothing to do with bashing one person for doing a classic sounding track and praising the other one for doing just the same. You seriously seem to have problems with understanding a simple written text.

Not liking the sound or recycling often results in bashing. I don't quite get your logic though as emres answer to your reply basically explains why.

By the way can someone explain how people prefer P1s defqon anthem over this one?

From the b2s newsletter :

From the legendary sounds of back in the days, to the rough kicks of today and the ultimate summer feeling that’s part of Decibel: this anthem has it all. “I deliberately created sort of a triptych this year. That means the older sounds and kicks in the intro, a break with a summer feeling and the drop is a slightly rougher kick than the kick I normally use. The outro is also somewhat harder. Not extremely rough, but still festival worthy though. I think it can be interesting for everyone.”, says Brennan Heart.

Yes, Wildstylez is a better producer than BH technically speaking. Don't need to be an expert in sound engineering to hear that. Get over it.. WSZ is right next to NC in production terms, idk what planet you're living on. Ah and I'm 90% sure Corey makes all BH stuff nowadays anyways.

the quality margin between BH and WS really isn't big. infact, nearly equal. it's just that they have their own style in which differs in sound design. but they both have solid mixdowns and neither of them set them apart drastically from each other in terms of overall quality

do you have any proof?

No, that's why I said 90% sure. Lol

And well yea, WSZ has fuller leads, more 'perfected to the last bit'. I think that's hear-able by far and quite a big difference with BH.
