Decent album, maybe a bit to hardcore-ish and monotonous for me. But at least it's something different :)

My judgement:

1. You Don't Know Shit - 7/10
2. Horror and Crime - 5/10
3. The Worst Nightmare - 7/10
4. Darkness is Calling - 7,5/10
5. Sharpen the Scalpel - 4/10
6. Helpless - 8/10
7. Annihilate - 6,5/10
8. Redemption - 6/10
9. Unlike Others - 7,5/10
10. The Black Demon - 7/10
11. Brutal 2.0 - 7/10
12. T, M & Cannabalism - 6,5/10
13. 6th Pathway RMX - 5/10 -- Original mix is much better!

Avarage: 6,5/10

ceero:Am i the only one who loves Helpless ? Top track in my opinion, awesome atmosphere :)

In my eyes, helpless is not bad but I'm already tired of this Chain Reaction kick.. 6/10

Totally agree Intro(0:50-><-1:30) is mindblowing. I have shivers every time when I'm listening to this part. Climax are hmmmm, good.

"You don't know shit" and "Unlike Others" do it for me.
The other tracks sounds a bit ... dunno, maybe experimental.

This is my favourite album at the moment! What bombs of tracks!
I even think that Noisecontroller's album won't be this in my view :fist:
I really like every track on it except Unlike Others. The vocals are amazing but the rest is quite lame.

Would be a hell of a track with proper kicks but these new MiM kicks must be the worst kicks I've heard the past few years.

Brutal 2.0, Worst nightmare and Unlike Others are for me. Redemption's breakdown is annoying to me and the rest of the album doesn't do much for me. But its good to have this as a very alternative option to other stuff out there :)

MIM gave away a lot of CD's last night at the Matrixx.
I don't need gay breaks and a big song with a buildup and lights and smoke...

my ratings:
You Don't Know Shit - simply boring 5/10
Horror And Crime - nice intro, but the rest is again boring 6/10
The Worst Nightmare - sweet outro this time, and again the track is boring 6/10
Darkness Is Calling - awesome intro and outro, climax could've been slightly better though 8/10
Sharpen The Scalpel - sounds too rushed and uninspired... random title, random sampled gangsta-rap, random melody, come on, how random can a track be? 4/10
Helpless - very atmospheric 8/10
Annihilate - wow, just wow!beast of a track 9/10
Redemption - the best track on the album 10/10
Unlike Others - powerful track 8/10
The Black Demon - simple and awesome, and moreover i've got the lyrics stuck in my head for two days now... 9/10
Brutal 2.0 - the title fits the track 8/10
Torture, Murder And Cannibalism - banging track, but sounds slightly boring after the whole bunch of other sound-alike tracks... 8/10
The 6th Pathway (Radical Redemption Remix) - the original was my favourite track from crypsis' album, and this remix is simply a completely different track... 7/10
totals at 6.9 for me...
this was probably the most childish album i've ever heard. the thing is called juvenile maximalism (i'm not sure if i've translated the term correctly) - if you want to make something, make it at it's extreme. that's why the whole album is full of extremely "raw" melodies, kicks etc... and after listening to the whole thing i've got sooo fed up with all these sampled gangsta-rap lyrics, wannabe-brutal kicks and hardcoreish melodies, that i just had to go and listen to some cheese)) imo the guy should've tried and be more diverse)
Brennan Heart:It's called hardstyle for good reason. It's hard and it's style

yet you gave 8 tracks a score of 8 or more out of 10. The "juvenile maximalism" can't have been that bad then!!!

had a close to the 6th pathway remix, didn't do anything for me really.

You Don't Know Shit - ok melo but overall its pretty boring and the JOS track uses the vocals in a much better way 4.5/10
Horror And Crime - same thoughts as Mr DAT 4/10
The Worst Nightmare - clearly the best track on the album. Awesome breakdown, amazing melody and filthy kick in the outro 9/10
Sharpen The Scalpel - not doing much for me - 4/10
Helpless - A lot more Chain Reaction influence in this one. Pretty good melody and nice 2nd kick. solid track 7/10
Annihilate - Lots of good ideas in this track but the execution is a bit jumbled. good melos 7/10
Redemption - this is a really random and chaotic track. not sure what to think really - 6/10
Unlike Others - very simple but it works for me. Lots of energy imo. 8/10
The Black Demon - pretty boring overall, melo doesn't do much for me and I don't like the vocal 3/10
Brutal 2.0 - awesome awesome track. Extremely accurate title :) 8/10
Torture, Murder And Cannibalism - tries to be "Sensational Gargle" but fails. 4/10
The 6th Pathway (Radical Redemption Remix) - never liked the original much and this isn't that great either. its pretty standard 'rawstyle'. but its not too bad I suppose 5.5/10
Darkness is Calling - ok intro but the main part is random as fuckkk - 4.5/10

This guy's screeches are pretty weak and don't have the effect that they could and should have :( ruins about half a dozen of the tracks :(

but I got what I wanted off the album so all good :)

Fine, I'll type out my thoughts after a couple of listens since everyone else is:

You Don't Know Shit: It's not amazing but it's fun. 7/10
Horror And Crime: Liking the melody in this one, rest isn't terribly interesting. 5/10
The Worst Nightmare: Same reason I enjoy You Don't Know Shit but it's got a great melody on it. 8/10
Darkness is Calling: It's alright. Intro and outro are pretty good I suppose. Dunno about the rest though. 5/10
Sharpen The Scalpel: Melody and outro aren't bad but aren't terribly great either. 5/10
Helpless: I like, I like. As Mr. Practice said, it's just a solid track. 7/10
Annihilate: Both the anti-climax and real climax are fantastic. 7/10
The 6th Pathway (Radical Redemption Remix): I like that second melody. But that's the only part of the track I like. I prefer the original much more. I think it was one of the more underrated tracks on Crypsis' album. 5/10
Redemption: Intro, mid-intro and outro are radical (:p) as fuck. Rest? Eh. 7/10
Unlike Others: Probably the standout track on the album. Only thing I don't like is the kind of obnoxious "Crypsis! Radical Redemption!" near the end. 9/10
The Black Demon: Eh. I'm not liking it. 3/10
Brutal 2.0: Doesn't do anything for me. It doesn't make me want to tear my ears out. 4/10
Torture, Murder and Cannibalism: Could be worse. The semi-hardcore kick works well in my opinion. 6/10

That comes out to an 6 average. That sounds harsh but I do like the album. It's just not the greatest album ever made and it does have faults.
