@Dastylerz Quartz Extreme is some kind of acellelator for graphics. You can fix it. When your graphic card do not support this your animations are very slow (e.g in DOCK). As I said it's fixxable but you have to tell me what did you use to install MAC and what graphic card you use ofc

Quartz extreme is easy to shut down, before you install logic there is a install file (RequiermentsChecker), you need to delete, so the installer doesnt check your specifications:)

@up ya you can cheat Logic. But I think that working of MAC without quartz extreme doesn't give you satisfaction of using it. You've got slow animations and things like that. BTW I repaired kexts for my WG111v3 and now I'm writing to you from my OS X 10.6.8 ;)

MRK i've got a optimus and sandy bridge (Worse thing to get when you wan't a hackintosh IMO) so I'm just gonna be able to use the HD3000 one, I've tried both retail install from 10.6.8 and then lion or directly iatkos L2! I've got L2 installed on my computer right now.
I've got these specs http://us.toshiba.com/computers/laptops ... P775-S7160
I've got exactly the toshiba p770 11x but I can't find it on their web site :/

MRK wrote:@Stuart after upadte to 10.6.8 you have to do post-installation once again I mean that you MUST NOT REBOOT after installation of combo pack.
1. Install 10.6
2. Update to 10.6.8 (DO NOT REBOOT)
3. Do post-installation (e.g. Multibeast)
then you won't get KP
and one more thing if you don't have 10.6.8 or higher Logic 9 won't work because it's designed for OS X 10.6.8 or higher :)
I can't install 10.6.8 though. After installing OS 10.6 it's the first thing i do but it gets til the end and says some shit like "moving files" and then i get a Kernal Panic before it completes. I haven't even used Multibeast yet lol.

Also about the quartz checker or whatever when installing Logic, just find the minimum system requirements file and open it (its a txt file or something), and you will see some lines like <block>, change all of these to <warn>, it will still appear but it wont cancel the installation

Imagine building a guitar and then tuning it and then playing it. That's what electronic music is.
