@Super G

Lacks a proper centered layer, that is what it lacks. Also a subtle layer that is one octave lower, I think ;)

@super G Yeah what Euphorizer said :) But I think that it sounds quite close to the orignal but only sounds very flat and empty, good job

Small lead and melody remake of the Track Technoboy & Tuneboy Ft Ellie - Promise Me

@dhamiri_blurrboy your lead has got fatness, but it just needs to be more bright around 8khz in my opinion

does this mixing sound ok :?

Lacks low mids and low end in general.
I'm grumpier than you.

Do people even read these?

thanks for feedback. I wanna get this right now cause usually I mix down a lead in a way that sounds nice to me but strange to other people

I didn't reduce too much low end this time, better now?

(I shouldn't have put in the bassnotes tho)

edit: better eqing

Yeha it sounds better like that :). Still a bit paper-y though.

@Soundphase that's really nice.
@dhamiri_blurrboy The second lead sounds a bit thin in my opinion, otherwise great attempt.

Something i came up with sylenth1.

Maybe you should stop using sylenth and start using your other synths ( ͡ಠ ͜ʖ ͡ಠ)

@dhamiri It sounds okay to me, perhaps adding more layers to it would give it more fullness if you know what I mean
@Soundphase Nice bright, and has a good character to it. I think its great!
@Aztro Would like to hear it without the rhythm synths in the background but as it is, its sounds good :)

Here is mine, I'm new to making synths so I'm stuck on what to do next for this. Its made of 5 layers of Sytrus, Nexus, and Z3ta, gave it lots of saturation, eq, and minor distortion but I feel its still lacking. What can I do to make this better? :?
