iZotope Trash 2 cuts out sound

Sound design and production in general

I'm always using iZotope Trash 2 for my kicks but I have the demo version.
This causes a problem that my kicks get cut out of volume at some points in the track by iZotope.
It's annoying when creating a track but I can deal with it. When I export the track to mp3 it's gone anyways.

But now I'm creating a new track I suddenly also experience this in the .wav file, how come?

Bounce the kick itself to a short wav file. Then use it in your track.

Does that mean that I have to replace every single kick in my track with the new wav file and also automate everything all over again or is there a shorter way?

Do I .wav the kick with Edison btw?

you actually can make a new pattern with a single kick shot in it then make a .wav from a pattern or either use Edison.
you'll need a separate .wav for every note of your kick (if pitched).
(it will help you to re-use your kick in other projects btw).
save your kick processing chain to a different project for future reference.
then replace your current kick channel in your track with wav you made, disable all the effects on that channel (bc they are already in wav) and preserve your current piano roll.
should work :)
also form a habit to bounce every sound you made into wav. you'll build your sample library slowly but surely.

another piece of advice: buy the sw you use. :)

Allright thanks man! Unfortunately I do not have enough money to buy every single piece of software I use :p
