Looking for 2005-2008 melodic tracks

Postby Emre » 30 Dec 2013, 22:39

I'm looking for good old nu/'early' hs tracks with good melos, with little or no vocals.

Examples:

Antifact - Path of Righteousness
old Wildstylez/Seizure releases
Abject tracks/old Frontliner releases
old A-lusion

or older tracks,

Thanks :D (really love that kind of HS)

This, it's just too many :p (the good track/bad track ratio was better than today if you ask me)

Brennan Heart ft. Shanokee - Home was always one of my favourites, for instance

These were good tracks merging into the nu era for me.
Many tracks kept the harder elements of gated kicks/reversed bass intro/mid-intro/outro's.

These popped in my head first

A-Lusion meets scope DJ - Between Worlds (09)
A-Lusion - 4 elements/Talk Iz the rmx
A-Lusion - Drummer Beat/Re-Vera

Josh and Wesz - Like Thiz

But yeah as Johnny said, Checking big labels (Scantraxx + it's spin offs, Fusion/Superplastik, DMW, Straight On/Next Chapter, Mythica, Hardcopy, Saifam, DJU Red/Black/Orange etc) releases on Discogs from that time is the obvious solution.

Yep just find labels you like from that era, look at each release, preview it on YouTube and see what you like! All the big labels were releasing great stuff around that time
Headhunterz/antifact stuff from around then was good so look at all of scantraxx reloaded
And also blutonium records up to 09 was producing high quality stuff (I recommend looking at the compilation "best of blutonium hardstyle volume 4", that is a selection of some of their best tracks from that era)
