1. D-Fence - Pompen
2. Srezcat & Kobaryo Bassdrum Catharsis
3. Pandorum - The Test (Beast Mode Edit)
4. I:gor - Straight Outta Kielce
5. Noize Suppressor & Tha Playah feat. MC MC Nolz - Headshot
6. Teddy Killerz - New Shit
7. Mindustries - Change Everything
8. Audiofreq - Audio God
9. Mindustries - Spark Outrage
10. Nosferatu & Furyan - Killswitch

I didn't enjoy this year in hardcore at all. The amount of quantity compared to quality, maindustrial/170bpm rawstyle which N-Vitral, Radical Redemption and Angerfist started and dominance of uptempo weren't for me.

I hope these hypes will fade away soon and artists focus on the quality. No expectations for next year.
If rawstyle/uptempo hype continues (even if it has been the same for 3 years) the mainstream will fade away.

Show spoiler
I'll include my Top 10 for both lists as well :)

Hardcore:
1. D-Fence - Pompen
2. Srezcat & Kobaryo Bassdrum Catharsis

6. DJ Paul Elstak - The Promised Land (The Viper Remix)
7. Pandorum - The Test (Beast Mode Edit)
8. Advanced Dealer & Kutski - Killscreen
9. Destructive Tendencies & Tha Playah Ft. Mc Jeff - Play My Game
10. D-fence & Neophyte feat. Tim & Alee - Rammen (or D-Fence - Bassline)

IHC/Crossbreed/DnB:
1. I:Gor - Straight Outta Kielce
2. Mindustries - Change Everything
3. Teddy Killerz - New Shit
4. DJIPE - Turtle Devastation Wave
5. Mindustries - Spark Outrage
6. Xaturate - Mental Gear Solid
7. Innominate - Built To Hurt
8. Sinister Souls - Darkseid

1. Triamer & Nagato & Switch Technique - Impaled
2. The Outside Agency - The Machinery Of Death (Deathmachine Remix)
3. Mindustries - Change Everything
4. The Outside Agency - Hidden Strengths (Fracure 4 Remix)
5. Brainpain - Berserk
6. Hellfish - Easycore
7. The Outside Agency - Hours & Dreams (Detest Remix)
8. Mindustries - The Perfect Machine
9. Strange Arrival - Surface Tension
10. Dither - Intellectual Desire

and a special mention to "Dualistic & Subsequent feat. Ella - Sunrise" which doesn't really fit with the rest of this list :)

but yeah, wasn't really a good year for these genres except the great releases from Mindustries and from Ghost In The Machine (although none of their tracks was really outstanding, just solid bangers)

don't know what happened to TOA, really dissappointed me this year...

1. Triamer & Nagato & Switch Technique - Impaled
2. Somniac One - Forsaken
3. Mindustries - Dissolvement
4. Razor Edge - Death Row (KRTM Remix)
5. The Speed Freak - Destroy Reality (Hellfish Destroy All Stars Remix)
6. Innominate - Build To Hurt
7. Tripped & [KRTM] - T-Shirt
8. Tymon - Instakill
9. Detest - My Porn
10. Existh - Asteroid

Overall it wasn't the best year for those genres, I expected a lot more from TOA and from Heresy, btw PRSPCT and Motormouth delivered us a lot of good stuff. About d'n'b, I started to feel Neuro a bit monotonous to be honest apart some releases in some particular labels (Methlab's Releases are so epic, and the dom & roland LP is the dnb album of the year for me just to name few). The greatest thing happened is the coming back of KRTM and the MadBack records label (even if I consider their releases more techno)

Not a top 10, but these are just the standout tracks of 2016. (For me of course)

Undisputed no. 1: Triamer & Nagato & Switch Technique - Impaled

Honorable mentions:
The Outside Agency - Hours & Dreams (Detest Remix)
Hallucinator - Satanism
Hallucinator & Sinister Souls - Exorcize
Hallucinator & The Outside Agency - The Desert
Wavolizer - Killer Instinct
DJIPE - Turtle Devastation Wave
Deathmachine - Distort U
Somniac One - Forsaken
Densha Crisis - No Other Choice
Densha Crisis - Disfunctional Pattern
Amada - Iceborn
Thorax - Innocent Blood
DJ Thera & Ophidian - Post Apocalypse
Ruffneck & Promo - Perseverance (Never Surrender)
Promo - Thunder In My Heart

Has to be said; For the first time in 10+ years I couldn't just sit down and pull tracks from memory, (besides a few select ones) as the year has been especially weak when it comes to how I like things. I had to look up a lot of tracks to refresh my memory, and in the end I settled on those shown above.
All of the tracks posted I don't feel I could cut to make a top 10, so here's a "top" 16 where only no. 1 is singled out. I know it's a cop out, but that's how it'll be from me.

Best EP goes to 'Hallucinator - Satanism '

The whole album is just perfect imo, my favourites have to be Tentacles, Sinkhole, Vigilantes and Straight Hook.
