Dunno but this years Crossbreed releases were pretty generic and kinda boring imo  Nothing really stood out of the mass and caught my attention. Or can anybody recommend me some original stuff from this year?

Crossbreed wasn't as awesome as it usually is, or well, was two years ago. That said, every genre has it ups and downs.
I'm grumpier than you.

Do people even read these?

Sure the TOA - NTIC release was ofc superior but else?

The only other worth to mention 2014 track which comes to my mind is Pandorum - Reconnect and even this track was way more normal HC with Crossbreed influences than 100% Crossbreed.

Would love to see more melodic aimed Crossbreed in 2015 (L) But ofc still hard and driving.

I listened to a few crossbreed tracks over the internet, forgot all the titles/artists etc..Does anybody have some crossbreed stuff for someone who is a total newb to the scene haha? I need to get more into this stuff

edit: Ok, just discovered TOA, they have more sounddesigning skills in their left big toe than I will ever have. Cooll stuff.

Check out Dj Hidden and Eye-D stuff, too. They're the guys behind the TOA project :)

And you can always just check out what has been posted in this thread.

found 2014 was a shit year for hardcore/crossbreed as well. Nothing could top the TOA EP with The Sunrise, Enlightened Species, No One But You and Hours & Dreams. so much so that I stopped my monthly podcast because I couldnt find enough new music each month......let's hope 2015 is better

Imo in 2014 were released some good tracks/EPs like TOA ep, informer ep, n-vitral & deathmachine ep, some switch technique and micromakine stuff, and some good releases in heresy, and some other decent tracks in other labels,, but nothing more. But the problem was that you have to wait a lot for some quality release, probably because the scene is smaller than others, so you haven't as many releases as main hc, or because some "big names" like deathmachine, igneon system or TOA for example, this year hasn't produced so much stuff. Byw I have great hopes for this new year!

Well earlier years it felt like we had more awesome stuff, and more releases in general. Listen to a Crossbreed mix from 2011 or 2012 and compare :)
