Today i`ve test the AKG and the Beyerdynamic DT-880 Pro for half an hour per headphone...
and for all the people who don´t know wich headphones the should buy, i really can say that the Beyerdynamic DT-880 Pro are much better in the brightness and in the high and low bass frequency.
and sorry for my english.. i´m fucking drunk! :naughty: (L)

The 701s are on my to-buy list since years now.
Tried them several times and I'm still amazed everytime. Crrrrrystal clear, even sound!
Fat basses, glassclear mids and razor sharp highs <3

Hi, i'm searching for professional studio headphones. My budget is around 50/100 euros. What do you recommend? :)
I like diversity and reverse bass.

I have these too and they are outstanding. 4 of my friends plus my sister listened to them and all went and bought their own pairs, that's how impressed they were.

From what ive heard AKG makes really good headphones,
like the AKG 240 and the AKG 240 II

i dont know the difference between them but honestly man its all about your own opinion, go somewhere bring your ipod or something and listen to them, choose the ones you like the best

AKG K-701 is open back, which is your choice for studio monitoring. Costs 200€. Senheisers are closed back and thus for DJ's. Closed backed provides good insulation but the sound quality drops significantly. If you don't believe me place mugs over your ears, now imagine an audio signal there, how much of the actual audio signal are you going to hear?

...

Those are consumer models that have terrible lows. Cheapest AKG studio model is K-242 HD(according to their website) you might find some older models that are cheaper though.

I tried out the ath m50s for awhile, I didn't really like them. After djing for an hour or two and bouncing around, my ears would get very hot and sweaty, and it would start to feel heavy on my head. Then after those got stolen, I got replacement akg k77s, which are very nice, lightweight, cheap headphones!
