i play sexbusters at 150bpm, cuz i play all hardstyle tracks at that speed so 156bpm sounds too fast to me. if u re used to play it 156bpm, 150bpm may sound too slow for you... so its just ur habit if someone play this track at 162bpm you would probably also say thats too fast !

152 = perfect as not too slow and not too fast.

I went to a night the other week where someone had pitched his tunes to about 170bpm. It sounded dreadful :rofl:

155 is a nice speed... around 3 to 4 percent. usually

more that 160 would be only for mixing into hardcore... or simply a fun action :p

153 BPM is the perfect speed for me.
I don't need gay breaks and a big song with a buildup and lights and smoke...
Fuck all that!

Start: 156 -> end: 162bpm

Ehs sounds best at this speed and gives it more drive, dj's playing below this speed are really boring imo.

I play tech-dance @ around 145-148 bpm, and hardstyle @ 150) sometimes, not too often though, I play @ 155) I can't really bear the sounds of sped up hardstyle.. like, wtf go play hardcore then!

I Start @ 156 & end @ 160+ into Hardcore usually.

But e.g, I play a track like Crypsis - 'Strike' very near the end of my sets & always pitched to 160! That track has got to be played at that speed for me. Them kicks don't sound right any slower...

(Just curious to know what pitch people on this forum would play 'strike' at??) :fist:

150 bpm) but yeah, I agree, that it should sound nice at 160 bpm, since crypsis produces slowed down hardcore))

154bpm all the way for me, up to 160bpm for hardcore-transitions though.
